As a photographer, I value your privacy
As a millennial, I grew up with RAPID change in technology. I used AIM in middle school, MySpace in high school and didn’t have a Facebook account until I was in college (because it wasn’t allowed before then!) Fast forward to 2025, many parents are choosing to keep their child(ren)’s face private from social media, internet, etc. As a family photographer, I value and respect your decision regarding your child’s privacy!!! I have been asked many times if I am still willing to work with a family if they do not give permission for their child’s face to be shared. I’ve been asked if the client can pay extra to keep their child’s face private. OF COURSE NO PAYMENT IS NEEDED! Of course I respect your child’s privacy! This is a no-brainer :) There is no need to explain. Simply let me know and I will ensure the photos that you deem private, remain private. I will also ensure, during your session, that I obtain images that are safe for your sharing online. I know how much I love and adore my children and want to share them with the world. I know you feel the same way, so I focus on the details: the hand holding, the tiny feet, the back of your baby’s head while it rests on Mommy’s shoulder…these details show the love, allow you to feel the love, and they just so happen to maintain your child’s privacy as well :)
