Let me just say, I am blown away by the services provided to Houston-area moms by The Ruby Postnatal. It is an understatement to say that I wish The Ruby Postnatal was open when after I birthed both of my children. Every mom deserves to experience the care provided by The Ruby Postnatal. I do not plan to have any more children so I will not get to experience their services myself, but boy, did I enjoy living vicariously through a local mom who received my photography services during her stay at The Ruby Postnatal. The Ruby Postnatal is located within the Omni Hotel in Houston. I easily parked in the parking garage, though there is an option for valet parking, and entered into the lobby. I was impressed by the level of security provided to guests of The Ruby Postnatal. After I was granted entry into The Ruby Postnatal, I arrived on the floor and waited for my client’s session time in a comfy, cozy waiting area.

When I entered my client’s room, I immediately noticed the beautiful decor and wallpaper in the rooms. Next, I noticed the beautiful bouquet provided by The Ruby Postnatal to my client as a congratulations and welcome. I definitely used the stunning floral arrangement to frame my clients and add texture to the images. My client raved about the amazing services she had already received on her first day of staying at The Ruby Postnatal. She mentioned how she received spa services prior to my session and I was insanely jealous but so happy for her to receive such pamper and care after delivering her child. My client mentioned educational courses she would be attending after my photography session! After delivering my first child, I cannot stress enough how helpful the lactation courses would have been for myself and my sweet boy who struggled to latch when nursing. What a blessing that mom clients of The Ruby Postnatal get to receive by having expert advice and guidance in the first early days. Lastly, my client shared how she was blessed to have her baby cared for in the nursery while my client showered and prepared for our photography session. As a mom, I understand how taking a shower without having to worry about the baby is such gift in itself.
